Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of services provided by GLOBULAR CLUSTER TECHNOLOGY SOFTWARE LIMITED ("we", "us") through globularcluster.ca (the "Site"). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

1. Services

• IT Consulting: remote consulting by our consultants (video calls, email) on IT system planning, choosing software and cloud services, and putting technical solutions into practice.

The exact scope, price and delivery of each service are as shown on the order page.

2. Accounts and orders

• You must provide a valid email address; we use it to deliver the service and send notices.
• You are responsible for activity under your account or email and for keeping your sign-in details safe.

3. Prices, payment and taxes

• Prices are charged in the currency and amount shown on the order page. Applicable sales taxes (GST / PST, etc.) are calculated from your billing address and shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay by card; one-time payments in CAD can also be made with Alipay. We never store your card or wallet details.

4. Subscriptions and renewals

• When you buy a monthly or yearly subscription with a card, you authorize us to save that card (stored securely by Stripe; we never see the card number) and to charge it automatically on each renewal date at the then-current subscription price plus applicable taxes, until you cancel.
• We email you 7 days before each automatic charge. If a charge fails, we retry 2 and 4 days after the renewal date and notify you by email; after 3 failed attempts the subscription ends.
• Subscriptions paid with methods that can't be charged automatically (e.g. Alipay) don't renew automatically; we'll email you before they expire so you can renew manually, or you can add a card on the management page to turn on auto-renewal.
• Plan or amount changes take effect from the next period; the current period is unchanged and nothing is prorated or refunded. You can change the card used for auto-renewal at any time on the management page.
• You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription" or your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you will not be charged again.
• One-time prepaid purchases (e.g. "1 month", "1 year") do not renew automatically; buy again to continue.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy: you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the services for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, to distribute malware or to disrupt the services. We may suspend or terminate the services if you do.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Consulting advice is for reference only; you remain responsible for your own decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Updates take effect when published; we will email active subscribers about material changes.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
